We offer 2 and 4 day programs. The 2 day programs are Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. Our 4 day program is Monday through Thursday. Our standard day begins at 9:15 am and ends at 1:45 pm. We do offer an extended Program for those students currently enrolled. You can choose to extended your child's day to either 2:45 pm or 3:45 pm.

At LAP children who will be 4 by September 1st may register for our Pre-K program and may choose either 2 or 4 day program.
The Pre-K curriculum is hands on, focusing on following multi-step directions, participating in group activities, working with a partner, and critical thinking. Phonics and whole language techniques will be introduced to give those who are ready the chance to begin reading. This includes the proper formation of the printed alphabet and the letter sounds will be introduced. Math concepts will be practiced daily through games and activities planned in the classroom.

Many of these skills will be reinforced as they work on age appropriate centers and during table time. Students will also participate in gross motor development and creative movement. Both structured and unstructured physical activity will be offered each day including both inside and outside play.
This program will provide new challenges and build self-confidence, allowing your child to reach their potential and offer them a successful transition into kindergarten.
